Nielsen, the research agency, is spot on when they say “Advertising must be a conversation rather than a push model”, in their latest research report on social media entitled “Global Faces and Networked Places“. Could not agree more guys!  Welcome to Storyz :)

Although the Storyz blog is mainly intended to provide updates on features and functions of our service, we do come across some interesting research etc, and will provide update on this from time to time as posted by JT Klepp, the COO of Storyz. Lots of people on the East Coast US have been busy looking into word of mouth marketing lately. “Do Friends Influence Purchases in a Social Network?” presents and in-depth study based on Cyworld, a popular social networking site in Korea.  Cyworld is a great base to study, due to it’s abilities for members to “scrape” or copy other friends home page contents.
